Laura Darrington Design are one of the UK’s leading luxury greeting card designers. You will find their cards stocked in notable stores such as Waitrose, John Lewis, WH Smiths, Harrods, Paperchase & Ocado.
The team approached us to evolve their ecommerce design, deliver a stronger experience to their trade customers and increase the brand’s exposure to new consumers.
We wanted the new website to reflect the stunning quality of Laura’s cards. So before touching a line of code, we designed a completely bespoke homepage, product and category page.
We then built the site with options in place to allow their team to easily manage the store and website content.
Laura Darrington have a large number of trade customers and also required a facility to offer their product catalogue at wholesale prices.
We delivered a bespoke design and a tailored experience for their trade customers.
To enrich the website and the upcoming marketing campaign, we carried out a stylised photoshoot, creating stunning images of their luxury cards.
We also conducted a product shoot in which we captured over 400 product images for the product pages on the site.
Creating stunning images is an important part of what makes our campaigns so successful.
With the new website launched we are now supporting the team to grow their online sales and trade customer interactions through a National SEO Strategy.
Our focus here is on increasing the website’s search engine traffic. Ensuring the Laura Darrington brand appears in Google search results when their customers search for phrases relevant to the product catalogue.
Bringing new customers to the brand through eCommerce SEO.
We also support the Laura Darrington team with their Facebook Advertising strategy – creating and managing their ad campaigns:
Facebook Advertising – Helping their target customers (independent shop owners across the UK) to discover the brand’s products through creative and engaging adverts.
Retargeting Ads – Reconnecting with those who show an interest in the brand – increasing conversion rates and encouraging repeat purchases.
Using Facebook Ads to reach new geographic markets, increase customer touchpoints and drive sales.
