Step One – The Website Redesign

Improving The Customer Experience

Our first challenge was to turn the brand’s existing static website into a system which served both the team and customers on a higher level.

The initial website was a non-responsive site where customers would place orders via email or over the phone. This process was time consuming  for both the customer and Prep Perfect’s team.

We designed a site which displayed perfectly across multiple devices and transformed the existing menu into an eCommerce experience. We then developed a bespoke system for booking food deliveries.

Step Two – Email Marketing

Improving Retention & Customer Engagement

Dieting is a regular commitment and Prep Perfect’s customers should be coming back at least once per week to order their next set of meals.

To keep customers on board we automated reminder emails to send out if the customer hadn’t placed an order in an reasonable length of time.

We also wanted to use the feedback of existing customers to fuel the onboarding of new customers. We developed a system to send “Leave us a Review” reminder emails to kick in after a customer had eaten their meals.

This resulted in a 200% increase in monthly product reviews on the site.

Step Three – Search Engine Optimisation

New Customer Acquisition

We began to build out an SEO campaign to drive new visitors and first time sales to the site. The site was receiving strong levels of traffic from the offset and we were looking capitalise on this even further.

We defined a set of target keywords relevant to the brand’s service and began working our magic on some technical SEO techniques and off-site SEO practices.

In just three months Prep Perfect’s search engine traffic doubled and revenue from search engines increased by 79%!


Step Four – Facebook Advertising & PPC

Increasing Sales through Paid Media

To further increase the customers acquired through digital channels each month we expanded our efforts towards two avenues of paid media:

Facebook Advertising – Helping specific consumer groups to discover the brand and service based on their demographic data and interests groups.

Google Adwords (PPC) – Getting the brand in front of those who are searching specifically for a food preparation company.

These channels are now a huge driver of growth and sales revenue each month.
